Things to do in Miami.

It’s not always easy traveling to a new city to navigate the tennis scene.  But if you are on vacation, business trip or just moved here we have the perfect evening activity for you to unwind after a long day of beach activities or business meetings.  Grab an Uber and your tennis racquet for our Wed night tennis class entitled LiveBall.

Backhand City’s 2020 Novice Tennis Lesson Series

Tennis players visiting the Magic City want a convenient workout and a fun way to connect with local tennis players while surrounded by restaurants, night life and local bars a short walk from tennis class. Sign up for tennis class with Backhand City called 2020 Novice Tennis Lessons Series

It’s held every Tuesday in the heart of Coconut Grove.  It’s a one hour tennis class utilizing team building exercises that will have you hitting 20 balls in a row within 20 minutes of your arrival to class.  It perfect for novice and recreational level tennis players who want to meet new people, get a fun workout and learn the sport of lifetime.

COCONUT GROVE

This tennis class is a great way to quickly assimilate in the heart of Miami in the diverse community of Coconut Grove. There are lots of local spots to grab a bite, craft beer, glass of wine and do some people watching.  Our favorite after tennis place is Lokal where you can grab a burger, locally sourced beer and some of their delicious Key Lime Pie surrounded by a thick graham cracker crust.

Since you might be on vacation you might not mind substituting the Key Lime Pie with a walk through the phone booth to the neighboring milk shake shop next door.  If you voted for Ronald Reagan you will feel at ease by the 80’s inspired decor and the thick traditionally prepared milkshakes.  If you weren’t born then you will have a great selfie  you can send to your parents!  Joy stick functioning Atari and Nintendo video games are on the back sofa while you wait for your order.
