BEST OF 305 Flex Tennis Tournament

$45 Gets You Entered Into the BEST OF 305 Tournament as well as invite to our LAUNCH PARTY and LiveBall Class on Oct 19th included with a round of drinks after tennis at LOKAL in Coconut Grove.





Starts: Oct 19 (Thu) with a Launch Party and LiveBall Class at Kirk Munroe Park in Coconut Grove. Play begins Oct 20 (FRI) as group pool play commences for 14 days. In early November the top 2 teams or players from each Division enter “knockout” draw with one match per week. Concluding on Finals weekend on Nov 18th at Miami Shores Country Club Tennis Courts.


Similar to World Cup, group pool play within your division will allow for plenty of matches and connecting with tennis players throughtout the city. With the top 2 teams or individuals advancing to the knockout rounds.

Players will have dedicated deadlines to play the matches at the courts and time of their choosing during both pool play and the knockout rounds. Simply, report your score after each match is complete. Top 2 players or teams advanced in each group to knockout round.


All matches will be 8-Game Pro Sets with a Gurerilla Tiebreaker at 8-all. Guerilla Tiebreakers are first player or team to 21 points played like a regular tiebreaker with switching sides every 6 points.

Please note: If court time allows players may agree play 2 regular sets with a 10-point Super Tiebreak as a 3rd Set.

Launch Party on Thu, Oct 19, 2017 at 7:30-9:30pm at Kirk Munroe Tennis Center with drinks after at LOKAL.

Tournament Finals: Saturday November 18th Raindate Sunday, Nov 19th.

  1. Hi Brian,
    Why is the match format changing to 8-Game Pro Sets? With this system, matches can be really short. It is not easy to arrange each match, and after all that effort, you can end up playing less than an hour… I would understand this format if you were playing several matches in a day, but that is not the case here.
    Best of Miami had a classic match format, with the option of a 10 point tie-breaker instead of a third set.
    Well, I hope it’s not too late to reconsider the match format in this tournament.

      You and your opponent(s) are welcome to do 2 Sets and a 3rd Set Super Tie-breaker. I made it 8-game pro set with Gorilla Tiebreaker because some facilities have limited court time.
